The Swan Group is celebrating #Bestcompaniesday after the Sunday Times once again identified us as one of the best not for profit companies to work for in the UK. This year we have climbed up twelve places from last year to number 22. This is the third year we have made the chart and we have made outstanding progress, climbing 42 places since first entering the chart in 2016 with scores based on feedback from our employees.
Staff accross the business participated in the Best Companies survey, which is based on ‘8 factors of workplace engagement’. It is completely independent and anonymous, so employees are free to say how they really feel.
The accreditation is awarded to the best performing businesses, that demonstrate a true commitment to creating an engaging and uplifting environment for staff who work there – the focus being celebrating those companies who are making the “world a better workplace”.
John Synnuck, Swan’s Chief Executive said:
“We are proud to be recognised as one of the best not for profit companies to work for in the UK. To be ranked as a 2 Star company in our third year, coming in at number 22 is a fantastic achievement. We are particularly delighted that we have moved up a further 12 places this year and 42 places since we first entered the charts in 2016! This is testament to the continued hard work of our managers to improve employee engagement and satisfaction and the enthusiasm with which our staff have responded. We look forward to celebrating this outstanding achievement with all our staff, because together we can deliver more to ensure we are successful in delivering our social purpose – homes and services for our residents!”
