Construction, ping pong destruction in Finland!
NU living’s Site Manager Lawrence Trumpauskas competed in the European Table Tennis Chamionships recently and walked away with the Bronze medal!
Lawrence has been competing in the Sport for over 35 years so he is very expereinced and has won many titles, including the Silver Medal in 2013 in Germany and the Gold medal in 2011 in the Czech Republic.
He trains at least three times a week at a London club and plays regularly in national team and individual events. He is currently ranked No.1 in England in the Veterans category and No.16 in the overall Men’s singles rankings. He is three time England champion in the over 40’s.
On 27th June he travelled to Tampere in Finland to compete again in the European Championships with 500 other competitors. He skilfully made his way through to the Doubles semi-finals and scooped the Bronze Medal with his partner Dimitry Abramenko.
Lawrence is already looking forward to competing in the World Cup in Spain in May 2016.
